Ros Chilcot is an art based embroiderer with a Textile / Art Diploma from Goldsmiths and has more recently studied for another Fine Art Degree as a mature student at Falmouth College of Arts on moving to Dartmoor. Her work: painting, drawing, and painting on canvas with stitch, revolves around the very centre of this last wilderness of England. Dartmoor, with its moods, atmosphere, and variable conditions (often dramatic), provides endless challenges and inspiration to stretch Ros's ingenuity with materials and imagination.
